Dear Moonies, No doubt you are all feeling the push-pull in many areas of your lives, as the planetary rulers of the incoming Age of Aquarius, stand opposed each other in our Astrological skies. The planets Saturn (traditional ruler of Aquarius) and Uranus (modern ruler of Aquarius), have been doing this cosmic dance with each other since November 4, 2008, and will continue to do so throughout 2010. In essence, the Archetype of form, structure, tradition, the status quo, limitations, boundaires and the manifest reality as we know it (Saturn) is moving in and out of a 180 degree opposition to the Archetype of freedom, equality, changes, shifts in consciousness and sudden awakening (Uranus). What does this mean to you personally? Well, imagine yourself in the middle (as Earth Herself is poised in betwixt) of these 2 very different energies, and that you are being pulled in 2 diametrically opposed directions. On the one hand, you want the security and stability that Saturn promises, in following the old rules and traditions. On the other hand, you want to break free of any imposed limitations and dive into a whole new reality, expressing your authenticity fully and passionately, which Uranus promises. Maybe you are feeling stuck between choosing to go back to the traditional 9-5 work force in order to pay your bills, and choosing to trust your instincts about a wonderful new creative idea that thrills you to the Core, but requires some serious risk-taking. (Or you might be feeling this in your relationships, or about the place you live, or any other life area.)) Hmmmm. What does one do in the midst of an astrological tug-of-war like this? Well, I propose that it doesn't have to be an either/or decision at all, but a both/and decision! Aquarius asks us to 'think outside the box' and find ways that you can work with BOTH its traditional ruler, Saturn AND its modern ruler, Uranus, in ways that accomplish the very Peace that Aquarius has come to personify. Ask yourself, 'How can I give form and structure (Saturn) to this great new inspirational idea (Uranus)?' And then proceed to invoke both planetary energies into the formation of your inspirired thought. It's about being both practical (Saturn) and ground-breaking (Uranus). Since Saturn rules the Ancestral Lineage and all Ancient Traditions (along with the Moon of course), we would do well to consider which of those ancestral pieces we are individually and collectively holding on to, are worth keeping in the New Age. Perhaps not all the old rules and traditions serve us. Remember, that we often limit our own possibilities by buying into the belief that 'it's how it's always been done.' Uranus can help us by shaking us out of the crystallized thought forms (Saturn) that keep us trapped to a Past that no longer infuses us with vitalized energy. Uranus is the Great Awakener and brings sudden insights into our nature, our reality, our understanding of how things work. One of the mythological heros that is associated with the Uranian Archetype (and Aquarius) is Prometheus. He had the courage to steal the fire from the gods of Mt. Olympus, in order to bring it down to Earth, to Humanity, in order to bring Light and warmth to a world that sorely needed it. My invitation to you this Aquarian Lunar Moonth is to open yourSelf up to that Promethean Fire - to be en-Light-ened and quickened in unexpected ways. And when you receive this New Light (Uranus), then act upon it in practical ways to bring it down to Earth (Saturn). Miracles occur when we are willing to step beyond our proverbial comfort zones! (The best 'zone' to be in during times of great shifting, is grounded and centered in our Vibrational Core Essence - which is an energetic bridge formed by your Sun, Moon and Earth Signs. Now, on to the more global picture below (written in 2008-2009) and still relevant: For the past 3 years, at every Aquarius New Moon, I've asked you all to participate in en-vision-ing a new government - one that aligns with the Aquarian Principles of Humanitarianism, Freedom, Altruism, Progressive CHANGE, Equality, and the Embracing of Diversity. I invoked, as many did, in this country and in the world, the Spirit of the Aquarian Frequency, to awaken a new sense of patriotism - one that would take us collectively into a New Earth - that would include a "New" Declaration of Independence - that would free us from the illusion of separateness, fear, and greed. I believe we have achieved, as a Nation, exactly that! You may or many not agree with me regarding what we have termed 'politics' but in fact, I believe politics and Government are not the same. There is a Sacredness to the very term 'Govern-ment' and it's Time that we ALL partake of the powerful response-ability that we DO have the Freedom to take on: How do we choose to GOVERN ourselves? How are we governing our individual lives - are we acting in selfish, greedy, power-hungry 'old world' ways much as the Elite have been doing? Or are we now ready to act in Service to the Greater Good, willing to usher in a New Age (The Age of Aquarius, that is), that fosters a United Community that embraces the diversity of All forms of Life? I believe that the Collective American Body has in fact made a Choice that took us (globally) out of the Dark Ages of the Old Patriarchal Political Elitism(Shadow Saturn), and that we are now finally ready to move into the New Age of Response-able Self-Governing Rainbow-ism. Yes, I did make up that word! Rainbow-ism! Come on now, say it with me: RAINBOW-ISM! I like it! (I even started up a website for it www.RainbowIsm.com) Yes, we have healed our shadow by embracing a Hu/Man as President that encompasses the Rainbow Tribe of Hu/manity (and maybe even a little extra-terrestrial). Yes, this is one great shift in Radical Forgiveness of the old divisive patterns that created slavery and persecution of Black, Yellow, Red, Woman, and non-Christian in our Land...He is a beautiful representation of the Power of Black! But he is ALSO, a glorious representation of ALL TRIBES, ALL COLOURS, ALL BELIEFS, ALL PATHS...therefore, I believe Obama is the Archetypal Representative of RAINBOW-ISM! (2010 Disclaimer: Now 1 year into his Presidency, we are noticing all the power plays he AND WE have to contend with, as we continue to move towards the Great Change that is still in the making - what has taken many centuries to be created, cannot be re-created overnight - so patience, and action on our part is required to assist our Leaders, whether it is Obama or any other world leader). Yeah, ok, call me crazy...a dreamer if you will (what did you exect from a Pisces Sun with Sagittarius Moon Rising?)...but many have been called 'Dreamers' and yet, and yet, something about having a Greater Vision, even if it 'appears' to be 'ahead of its Time,' tends to be seeded into the Collective, and eventually ripens and blooms and gives its fruit plentifully. (Oh yeah, Master Lennon; oh yeah, Master MLKing; oh yeah, Master Lincoln; oh yeah, Master Yeshuah!) I highlighted certain words above (and in the next section) to let your subconscious mind be re-minded of the Aquarius Key Words that will be at work, either consciously or subconsciously, in the Collective. Look at them again, and memorize them...keep them in mind as the Moon-th moves forward, as a personal reminder of the Cosmic Influence that is invited into our midst starting today, February 13 through March 15 (when we end this Zodiacal Year with the Pisces New Moon). And, one last note before you keep reading below: I opted to send this same invitation (see below, as in 2008-09) out again for the 2010 Aquarius New Moon, because I believe it still holds great power for us. In fact, we must not sit complacently on our laurels, but we must NOW, more than ever, TAKE ACTION! WE have succeeded in calling forth the very Change & Hope that was necessary to co-create a new Global Reality, but we must HEED THE CALL to PARTICIPATE in watering those tender roots that we anchored into the Universal Mind. We must keep on keeping on! We must now act upon the Dream itself, and do whatever it takes to SERVE OUR DREAM/GOAL of the New America, the New Earth, The New Global Community. Yes, it's a Big Vision, but we did call it forth into Be-ing! GIven what I wrote in 2007 (below), and how the events have played out, I KNOW we are ready for the next step in co-creation with Spirit! We have a Cosmic Blueprint in place, now we each must play our Role in building this country as it was en-vision-ed, not simply by the men and women hundreds of years ago, with their limited understanding and frail humanity, but by the Greater Collective that has grown, expanded and matured through trial and error, through Time and experience since our great beginnings... and WE ARE READY TO TAKE OUR PLACE IN A NEW STORY! We are facing unprecedented times. We are faced with great power as a species. And we have been presented with a Cosmic Invitation to really co-create massive change upon our beautiful planet and within our galaxy. We have all felt the energies that have inundated our existance, and perhaps even felt somewhat confused as to what we can do to help shift our reality from the threat of utter destruction to the hope of an enlightened global community. As so many bright and loving Souls have been putting out via books, seminars, movies in the recent months and years, WE DO MAKE A DIFFERENCE! But, we literally have to take action in order to participate within this great Shifting of the Ages. We are each here to make a difference in our own unique way. Whether you have been consciously doing so, or unconsciously participating by default, please know that YOUR FREQUENCY is adding to the overall planetary field of consciousness. Fall the balance where it will, we have each put in our piece towards the birthing of the collective prevailing frequency, and with that a 'reality' we've yet to IMAGINE. Right here, right now - CHECK YOUR FREQUENCY! But you all know that...you are all Masters of Life and you've been surely walking a Conscious Path. Now, what you may not be aware of is that there are Cosmic Stargates or Celestial Portals which are timed within our Galaxy, to bring into our planet certain 'cosmic frequencies' for playing a bigger part in this interstellar game! The New Moon is such a time. I would ask you to take a few minutes on the Aquarius New Moon, Saturday, February 13, 2010, (will be exact at 9:52 pm EST), to focus on a Global Vision of Peace within Diversity. The Aquarian Archetype brings to us many qualities which we desperately need to embrace at this time. Freedom. Equality. Far-reaching Vision. The Spirit of Inventiveness. A Universal Connection Between All Races and All Beings. Revolutionary Activism that inspires positive change. This Archetype happens to be one that is intimately connected with the United States. Many of our presidents had Aquarian influences in their charts (I.e. Abraham Lincoln was an Aquarian Sun) and the nation's chart (the astrological chart for the signing of the Declaration of Independance) bosts a powerful Aquarian Moon. This says a lot about the Spirit & Soul of the American citizens! And it says a great deal about what this Great Nation was originally destined to be, as envisioned by the TRUE leaders of the USA: those brave men and women who took part in the birthing of this great country, as well as the ones who stood for Freedom and Equality lead by Abraham Lincoln during the Civil War! These are the values this country MUST come back to, if we are to survive global collapse. The USA IS in fact a leader in this world - but not the kind that we've lately come to embody. The TRUE American Spirit is aching to be re-born within the populace! And only we can channel it forth so that we may reclaim our REAL national identity: Let us not forget the American Constitution - OUR Constitution - and we must also re-member our Constitutional Rights, and perhaps most importantly let us bring to mind the document that literally BIRTHED the United States of American into BE-ing: The Declaration of Independence. Imperfect as it was, this all important parchment reads as follows, having marked in 'bold' what I believe is relevant to our Times (Please click on the image above for the full document) (And remember to scroll to the bottom to read the rest of my message after reading the Declaration please): "IN CONGRESS, July 4, 1776. The unanimous Declaration of the thirteen united States of America, When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation. We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.--That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, --That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. So, the Cosmic Invitation brought forth by each Aquarian New Moon (and its counterpart Aquarius Full Moon 6 moonths later), is to REVIVE the very SOUL Of America! The US birth chart boasts a beautiful Aquarius Moon, which speaks volumes as to the Soul, the DNA, the Ancestral Lineage, the core emotional body, of this country and her people. We embody the soul of the Divine Revolutionary! We must become Light Warriors and demand Liberty and Truth, Equality and the embracing of Diversity, Freedom and Peace, amongst ourselves, amongst all our brethren, amongst all creatures - great and small. And I mean the 'REAL' version of these Rights and NOT the fear-based controlling version that our government has supplanted within Mass Consciousness (Homeland Security is the farthest thing from TRUE Aquarian frequency). Then, on this Aquarius New Moon, just as I asked during the previous years worth of Aquarian New Moons, I'd ask you to use one of Aquarius' great gifts: that of being able to envision far beyond the current moment...it's our duty as Americans & as WORLD CITIZENS to become Visionaries and invent a new form of government: a new form of living on GAIA. It's also time to 'resurrect' the Souls of the Great Visionaries that brough the Declaration of Independence, as well as Civil Liberties for all Races, and Voting Rights to Women, into manifest form. Folks, they did it for more than just this country - they did it for all the world! Over 200 years ago (and through our 'history'), some very courageous Souls, embodying the Aquarian Archetype, chose to stand up to the imperialistic government that oppressed this land, as well as to the fear-based separtism that caused slavery and unequality amongst races and sexes, and stood to fight for what was good, and true and right. Now, don't get me wrong, I don't believe they were all pure angels, and 'his-story' has shown there were some shadow sides to them as well, proving that they were as human as we are today - but what matters here and now, as it did back then, is that it takes Vision and Passion (the Aquarius/Leo Polarity) to really bring about massive change. And God/Dess knows, we're at the threshold of Global Change! And here we are today, as I write this, on 'Super Tuesday' 2008 with the biggest turnout in pre-election voting. Something in the American Soul (US Moon) has been activated. Something in you and me, and all the women and men in this country, as been 'awakened.' What is it? I believe that our Spiritual Contract, as Americans, has been turned on so to speak, and we are now becoming increasingly aware of our True Purpose here. In realizing how 'screwed up' our current reality is due to massive greed and total delusion, we are finally taking a stand within our local communities, and within global communities, to come together, in unison, for a great world relationship. (NOTE: And today, 1/26/2009, as I re-send this, I celebrate that WE DID IT!! CHANGE HAS COME! And NOW 2/13/2010, we notice that it's not just about the US governments, but about claiming our GAIAN CITIZENSHIP, for the good of ALL Nations, not just US! And that we must continue to work for this CHANGE, and not leave it up to one man or one government...we are NOT out of the woods yet folks!) "If not now, when? If not us, who? If it's to be, it's up to me!" My beloved friend and ally, Shari Starrfire Low, has this magickal way of 'igniting the inner flame' of passion and of inspiration in folks. It was a comment she posted in one of the Yahoo groups we both suscribe to and here is the 'nugget' that inspired me: "During the High Priest~Ess process, our circles addressed that we only have power if we exercise it, and that takes becoming active in knowing what we want." StarrFire mentioned how important it is that we now take action in voting with passion, considering the effects upon the "next 7 generations" and that we "have support from the unseen plane...and to listen to our heart's wisdom." Fabulous words for this Aquarius New Moon! Something tells me that more and more Souls that were part of various historical American moments, are back here now. Actually, if you are passionate and aware about 'what's going on' then I wonder (on the assumption that reincarnation is real) if you and I were a part of various revolutions as well as having experienced prior 'shifting of the ages.' What we need to do, is dream a new reality - keeping in mind the next 7 generations - and take action in some way to actualize, manifest, birth that new reality. It won't be enough to vote - as evidenced by the last 2 elections. It's going to take gutts, passion, vision, a LOUD voice and an unwaivering belief in the Sanctity of the United States Declaration of Independence! And call in the Spirit of George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Martin Luther King, Betsy Ross, Rosa Parks, Susan B. Anthony and all the great presidents, leaders and visionaries of this country, as well as our global brothers & sisters like Ghandi and even the Artists like John Lennon! They were not only 'real' people who lived and died for a Vision of a True Free Humanitarian Family, but they have become 'Archetypal Hero/ines' that we can embody here and now. Today, Moonday, Febuary 13, 2010 at 9:52 pm EST, (and throughout the entire Aquarian Moonth) as the Moon comes to align perfectly with the Sun in Aquarius, join your Frequency with that of the Great Revolutionaries and Dream a New Reality of Hope and Freedom! Please set a 'Global Intention' for the healing of the Earth and ALL her inhabitants There's a great reason for picking this particular New Moon! As I already mentioned, the USA chart has an Aquarius New Moon, so this is being 'activated' now, and each time a Lunation or a Planet 'transits' this important point. But along with the Sun and Moon in Aquarius, we have a pretty cool and powerful lineup, namely Chiron, Mercury, & Neptune. That is quite a concentration of archetypal energy in one spot! FYI, Chiron is the 'wounded healer,' Mercury is the 'messenger of the gods,' Neptune is our 'connection to Spirit.'' The Sun of course is our Spirit and the 'essence of our being,' and the Moon as the Archetypal Great Mother is our Soul and Emotional Body. In political astrology, the Moon also represents a nation's people and their security needs...that's right we 'need' the fundamental constitutional principles of equality,liberty and justice for all! Quite eloquently embodied in the Statue of Liberty!  To put it in the simplest terms possible, we have Spirit (Sun) impregnating Soul (Moon), with the Frequency of Freedom (Aquarius), and we have the opportunity to heal (Chiron) by communicating (Mercury) with Divine Source (Neptune) so that we can create Peace on Earth, and thereby rebirthing the Soul of America (Aquarius Moon in USA chart). Sound like a plan to you? Although we have achieved much already in the past 2 years, further action is required to keep this fully grounded and anchored into our Reality! Let us continue to call in and fully en-liven our Collective Destiny...not only for the United States of America, but to co-create Peace & Collective Shifts of Consciousness with all Nations, and lead with our example & frequency. Today at the Aquarius New Moon & again on 2/28 @ the Pisces Full Moon, as we stand poised to move from the Age of Pisces into the Age of Aquarius, stand with a lit candle in one hand and YOUR signed copy of the Global Declaration of Independence in the other, and declare out loud, "I now hold and vibrate the Frequency of Freedom within my Spirit and Soul, with which I heal the Global Wounds, as Inspired by God/Dess/Source, as I fulfill my Spiritual Contract of co-creating Peace On Earth with Spirit & all Consciousness Everywhere, thereby re-BIRTH-ing the very Soul of a NEW COSMIC Declaration of Independence for ALL BE-ings everywhere!" Going into the Game with an Intention like this really creates a wonderful Energetic Matrix within which we 'play.'
